Laker's Metta World Peace is Not a Meteorologist.. But He Played One on TV. (What Were They Thinking?)

This one has to go in the "What were they thinking" file? Television station FOX 11 in Los Angeles recently invited the notoriously unique Metta World Peace (formerly Ron Artest) of the Los Angeles Lakers to try his hand with the weather board. And it looked like partly cloudy with a chance of yoga.

Along the way in his weather report, Metta delivers some sensible advice to Lakers forward Earl Clark, throws in some yoga poses, adds a fake fart, and encourages a moment of meditation with his viewers.

He ends with the forecast.  "It's, uh.. 73 degrees on Saturday, 77 degrees on Sunday, 80 on Monday, and you know the rest. Just read... And if you can't read, go to school!"

What a trip this guy is. See the whole weather report here.
