North Carolina Tarheels' Colin Moran and Kent Emanuel Earn All-American Honors

Two members of the University of North Carolina baseball team were named to All-American teams earlier today.  Third baseman Colin Moran, who was named ACC Player of the Year and pitcher Ken Emanuel, ACC Pitcher of the Year, are both Juniors on this year's Tarheel squad.

Moran was named to the first team of Baseball America's All-America team as the  designated hittter, while also garnering second team honors from the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA).

Emanuel joined Moran on the NCBWA All-America squads as he earned third team honors.

Moran currently leads the country in RBIs with 88 on the year and is two shy of being the first ACC player to reach the 90-RBI plateau since Buster Posey accomplished the feat in 2002 for Florida State.

Emanuel is tied for the eighth-most wins in a single season with 11 and has posted the most career wins (28) by a junior in school history.
